Description
The construction of the resort started as early as 1908. It is situated in a huge hark, where one can see coniferous and deciduous trees – cypresses, fir-trees, cedar, etc. The large number of mineral springs are used as outdoor swimming pools with hot water and for balneology complexes, which offer medical treatment and a peaceful rest. There are a lot of hotels, villas, bugalows and restaurants. The sports fans can play tennis, volleyball, minigolf, or practise windsurfing and water ski.
On the territory of the complex there are many parking lots, a post office, medical centers, pharmacies, a cinema, an orthodox church, a stadium, a yacht port with a capacity of 40 yachts medium size. Build are many holiday residential”gated type” complexes, which offer their residents a five-star comfort.
The beach of Sts. Konstantin and Helen is with fine golden sand. Fascinating small coves have dug into the coast.

Sights
In close proximity are St. Konstantin and Helen Monastery and Evksinovgrad Castle, built in the neobaroque style, with an exceptionally beautiful garden, a park, a wine-house, fountains, and a staircase leading to the sea.
Near the complex is located the only of its kind for the region of Varna, Eco-park where the visitors may dive into the tranquility and the beauty of the nature, to enjoy the beautifully arranged theme areas in the park, to make a barbecue, ride a horse, ride on a traditional style, beautifully painted cart or simply make themselves a picnic.
Between St. Constantine and Hellen and Golden Sands lies a small complex named Chayka (Sea-gull).

There are over 50 hotels in the resort. Perhaps the most famous is the five-star “Grand Hotel Sofia”, which offers to its guests swimming pools, lobby bars, pastry shops, an excellent restaurant, a bar, a fitness centre and a lot of other extras. “Prostor”, “Rubin”, “Koral”, St. Elias hotel complex are among the other popular hotels. There is also villa complex named Letovishte comprising 25 villas.
Transport
There are regular bus lines connecting the resort to the railway station and downtown the city of Varna.
